Information about persons, locations or other organization-relevant data already exist in different systems. Personnel master data, in particular, is most frequently available in an HR system. User-centered information, such as the e-mail address, can be requested from existing directory services.

MUM seamlessly blends in your existing system landscape and synchronizes master data with defined interfaces and connectors. Functions of securing data integrity and quality are a matter of course.

In the course of connecting a master data system, complex business logics are very often a prerequisite in order to control the handling of already existing reference objects in the system.
For this purpose MUM provides you with an open interface for synchronizing mass data and also with a number of open interfaces for integrating with subsequent systems that use all this data on their part.

Example:
Personnel master data is transferred from an HR system to MUM on a daily basis. If they have not yet been created, reference organizational objects are dynamically generated when being synchronized and put onto the task list of a certain user group for a further enrichment. Required process roles are dynamically requested from MUM by a business process engine using web services.
